Comedy in Suburbia

I ended up going to a comedy show at Rooster T. Feathers in Sunnyvale on Thursday. It was sorta random when I ran into Danny when leaving work when I decided to go. I met up with Danny, Raina, and Thanh.

It was pretty funny. The headliner, Maryellen Hooper, was named Best Female Stand-up Comic at the 12th Annual American Comedy Awards - stand-up's highest honor. Her style was pretty interesting. It was mainly female and marriage centric - but with physical comedy that reminded me of mix between Lucille Ball and Don Knott's 'Mr. Furley' character on Three's Company.

It was a nice diversion to end the week. I felt bad because there weren't too many people there, but it was a Thursday in Suburbia.
